Privacy policy
Effective 2026-05-23. BullionLens collects the minimum data we need to send you what you asked for, measure traffic at an aggregate level, and detect bot traffic. We never sell your data.
What we collect
From forms: name, email, and any free-text you submit through the contact or lead-magnet forms. Stored in Brevo (our transactional email + contact-management platform) and forwarded to mike@agileopsai.com.
From every visit:
- Google Analytics 4 — aggregate traffic data (page views, session duration, country, device). No personally-identifying information. Anonymized IP enabled by default. Google privacy policy.
- Microsoft Clarity — session recordings (heatmaps, scroll depth) with text-input masking enabled. No financial details captured. Microsoft privacy statement.
- Bing UET — conversion tracking for Microsoft Ads (Bing). Only fires if we run ads. Microsoft privacy statement.
- Cloudflare — edge logs (IP, request headers, country) used for bot detection and abuse prevention. Cloudflare privacy policy.
How we use it
- To send you the research brief you asked for.
- To respond to your editorial inquiry, source tip, or correction submission.
- To measure aggregate traffic and improve which pages we publish.
- To detect and block bot submissions on the contact and lead-magnet forms.
- To run Microsoft Ads campaigns and measure their effectiveness (only if we choose to advertise).
What we do not do
- We do not sell your email address.
- We do not share your email with the companies we review or our affiliate partners.
- We do not send marketing email to readers who only used the contact form (they get a reply; they do not get added to the newsletter).
- We do not use first-party cookies to follow you across other websites.
Cookies + similar technologies
We use cookies for Google Analytics (aggregate measurement), Microsoft Clarity (session recordings), and Cloudflare bot detection. We do not use first-party cookies for advertising retargeting on this domain. Disable cookies in your browser if you prefer; the site functions without them.
Your rights
You can request a copy of any data we hold about you, or ask us to delete it, by emailing hello@bullionlens.com. We respond within 30 days. EU readers — your GDPR rights apply. UK readers — your UK GDPR / PECR rights apply. California readers — your CCPA / CPRA rights apply (note: we are unlikely to be a "business" under CPRA thresholds for a one-person site, but we honor the requests anyway).
Children
BullionLens content addresses adult investment decisions. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.
Changes to this policy
If we materially change this policy, we will update the "Effective" date above and (where appropriate) email anyone on the BullionLens lead-magnet list. For minor edits (typo fixes, link updates), we update the page silently.
